BRP-NO Modular Power Distribution Unit for Outdoor Lighting

Purpose and Main Characteristics of the BRP Unit

Outdoor Lighting Control

  • up to 12 outgoing feeder circuits
  • switching between “EVENING” and “NIGHT” operating modes
  • electric energy metering and electrical measurements at the incoming feeder

Power Distribution (0.4 kV Switchgear)

  • rated current of the incoming circuit breaker up to 2500 A
  • up to 14 outgoing feeder circuits of the 0.4 kV switchgear
  • electric energy metering at the incoming and outgoing circuits

Equipment Installation

  • telecontrol and communication systems
  • electricity metering devices
  • additional equipment according to the customer’s project
  • possible use as a service/utility enclosure

The structural design of the BRP unit may be manufactured in “right-hand” or “left-hand” configurations (depending on the position of the entrance door and the roof slope direction). Requirements for interconnection with other units, substations, or block distribution units must be specified during ordering to ensure proper design of connecting elements (roof canopy, roofing components, flashing strips) and wall openings.

Auxiliary power supply of the BRP unit (lighting and, if required, heating) is provided from the internal 0.4 kV switchgear or from an external source when the standalone BRP unit is used to house telecontrol and AMR/AMI equipment.
